Standard creators keep 95% of every paid sale. Exclusive creators keep 97%. Affiliates earn 8% on standard sales and 12% on exclusive ones. We absorb chargebacks, processing-fee surprises, and the premium on affiliate-driven exclusive sales. The math is on the page, not behind a support ticket.

Every paid sale flows directly to the creator's Stripe Connect account. We take 5% to run the marketplace; Stripe takes its standard credit-card processing on top of that.

Standard creators keep 95% of the sale price. Our 5% platform fee covers moderation, scanning, hosting, the licensing system, the public API, and the people running it. No tiers, no escalating cuts, no “introductory rates” that double after launch.
Direct via Stripe Connect
Stripe Connect Standard pays you direct, on Stripe's normal payout schedule (every 2 days in most regions). Your bank account, your tax forms, your dashboard. We never hold your money on a platform-side balance.
Chargebacks are on us
When a buyer disputes a charge and Stripe rules against the seller, the chargeback cost normally comes out of your payout. On hye, we absorb it. We treat chargebacks as a platform-trust expense, not a creator tax.
100% of ad revenue (when it ships)
Ad-share isn't live yet. When it ships, every cent of ad revenue from your project pages, your embeds, and your storefront flows through to you. We don't take a cut on ads. Ever.

If your project is exclusive to hye — not listed on any other marketplace — the platform fee drops from 5% to 3%, you earn priority placement, and you share in the monthly creator pool.

Monthly creator pool
We set aside a slice of platform revenue every month and split it across active exclusive creators based on engagement (downloads, ratings, retention). It's not a giant number, but it stacks on top of your regular payouts.
First-look influencer access
Verified influencers can request license packs from any creator, but exclusive creators see those requests first — and the affiliate commission on referred exclusive sales is 50% higher (12% vs 8%).
Distribution is paid work.
Influencers, content creators, and partner sites earn signed-attribution commission on every sale they refer. Higher rates on exclusive content; the premium comes out of our cut, not the creator's.

Every sale you refer with a signed affiliate code earns 8% of the sale price. If the project is exclusive on hye, the rate jumps to 12%. The 4-point spread comes out of our cut, not the creator's — they still receive their full 95% / 97%.
30-day attribution window
Click-through, signed referral cookie, conversion within 30 days — you get the credit. Last-touch wins. The attribution flow is auditable from your influencer dashboard, not a black box.
Signed referral codes
Referral codes are HMAC-signed so they can't be spoofed by spammers stuffing IDs into other people's URLs. The code carries the influencer ID, the project (if scoped), and an expiry. Decode-verifiable on our side, opaque on the public side.
Stripe Connect payout, $25 minimum
Affiliate balances clear once you cross $25 and pay out through Stripe Connect on the same schedule as creator payouts. No “net-90,” no “sorry, you didn’t hit the cashout threshold,” no fee on withdrawal.

When an influencer refers an exclusive sale, hye absorbs the cost of the higher 12% commission. The creator still receives the full exclusive payout. Distribution is on us; your work earns the same regardless of how the buyer arrived.
